The brief
Pravin Gordhanji Mali is Minister of State (Forests and Environment, Climate Change, and Transport) in the Government of Gujarat, MLA for Deesa, and a former President of Deesa Nagar Palika. He needed one official online home for his public work, events and messages to constituents.
The challenge
A public representative's website serves citizens, party workers and the media all at once, and most of Deesa's residents read in Gujarati. The political website development brief was to publish news from public meetings and events quickly in Gujarati, make it easy to request an appointment or send an invitation, and turn the site into a practical resource for constituents, not just a profile page.
Our approach
We built a custom WordPress theme with a homepage banner slider and a prominent "For Appointment / Invitation / Events" link. Event updates are published as Gujarati posts with photos, and the Photos and Videos sections give each campaign and public meeting its own archive. Below the profile, a citizen resources section links to useful information in Gujarati: farmer resources, the Right to Information Act, scholarship assistance, government application forms, Beti Bachao Beti Padhao and more.
